Barbara, Office Manager    

Barbara has been with the clinic almost since it opened in 1985.  In fact, her father-in-law and brother in law helped with the first remodel for Dr. Rehn.  Barbara initially started volunteering, and Dr. Rehn then hired her as a full-time employee.  Barbara has worked her way up in the clinic from cleaning kennels to assisting with surgeries to her job now as Office Manager.  At home, Barbara enjoys reading, sewing, and spending time with her husband.  She has 2 sons, 1 daughter-in-law, 3 granddaughters, 1 grandson, 1 Great Dane, 1 Golden Doodle, and 3 Cats.  Barbara has also provided homes for horses, Angus cattle, guinea pigs, and even a few rats. 



Maria joined the All Creatures staff in 2010 while simultaneously completing the Veterinary Assisting program at UAA Mat-Su.  She grew up in Maryland, but due to her husband's career, has also lived in Delaware and Georgia.  Her furry family includes two corgis, Martini & Dekuyper and two cats, Pendleton & Tanqueray.                     In her spare time, Maria enjoys reading, cooking and entertaining. In the future, she would like to further her schooling in the veterinary technician field.  





Christy was born and raised in Wasilla.  She has been with All Creatures since July 2008.  Her love of animals  started before she can remember and her goal has always been to work in the veterinary field.  Christy completed the Introduction to Veterinary Technology in 2006.   In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, fishing, and hiking with her husband, whom she met through our office manager, Barbara.  Christy's family includes her husband John, her 2 Labradror Retrievers Guinness & Jamison, two cats, an Iguana and a bearded dragon. 



Deb has been in Alaska since 2001 and joined the All Creatures family early in 2017.  She has a passion for Flat Coated Retrievers and competes in many field / hunting trials and tests.  Deb is a very active outdoor enthusiast.  Her home life includes a husband, two daughters, 7 dogs, 1 cat and 4 snakes.  She is currently enrolled in UAA Mat-Su College furthering her education in the veterinary field.




Michelle joined All Creatures in April of 2017. She has always had a deep love for animals all of her life. She grew up on a small farm in Georgia with a variety of animals, with horses being her favorite.

Michelle has lived in Alaska for over twenty years and has a small farm of her own. Her animals have ranged from Shetland sheep, goats, ducks, geese, chickens, dogs and a cat. She is especially fond of her mini Dachshunds.  When Michelle isn’t working at the clinic she enjoys gardening, kayaking and hiking with her husband and sons.




Nicole was born and raised in Alaska but has lived in several other states as well.  She has two grown children.  Her home includes two furbabies, Bentley a Shih tzu and Khloe a poodle mix.  Nicole's love of the outdoors includes activities like hunting, fishing and camping.
